Ronny Kraft Consulting specializes in transportation planning, market research, mobility management, geographic analysis, cartography, and stakeholder consensus building for public agencies. BIO - Ronny Kraft

Ms. Ronny Kraft, has 18 years of experience working with public sector clients to address the mobility challenges faced by many different communities throughout California. She excels at developing cost effective and innovative transportation solutions for seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income populations through a combination of careful analysis and extensive community outreach.

As the sole-proprietor of Ronny Kraft Consulting, Ms. Kraft has worked on several different transportation planning efforts for a variety of urban and rural clients, including short- and long-range transit plans and public transit – human services coordination plans. Her team of colleagues is extensive and covers a range of specializations.

Ms. Kraft has supervised several large-scale onboard surveys for Westchester Bee-Line and four systems in the Raleigh-Durham Research Triangle that produced successful results. Her tasks included development of the sampling plans, survey logistics, training surveyors, onsite supervision, analysis, and reporting. In addition, she has planned and executed several smaller onboard survey efforts for rural clients.

Ms. Kraft’s experience using GIS to support planning efforts is extensive. She is a skilled cartographer, using the combination of GIS and Adobe Illustrator to create clean and intuitive maps. She has conducted geographic analysis and produced maps for various purposes, including existing conditions, system map overhauls, proposed route realignments, commute patterns, grant proposals, and community outreach.

Prior to becoming a sole proprietor, Ms. Kraft provided planning support on various projects for the San Mateo County Transit District since 2006. During her eight years working on the Grand Boulevard Initiative, a multi-jurisdictional effort, she spearheaded significant coordination and consensus building among more than 50 stakeholder organizations in an effort to revitalize a 43-mile corridor. Through her several years spent implementing the San Mateo County Senior Mobility Action Plan, Ms. Kraft developed various programs to help older adults and people with disabilities remain safely connected to their communities. She also managed two community-based transportation plans and a countywide low-income transportation plan where she developed transportation strategies for disadvantaged communities based on significant levels of community outreach.

Ms. Kraft holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, with a focus on Urban Policy, from Mills College.
